This website is primarily a static information site. If you choose to join the mission, we collect the information you voluntarily submit through the Join the Mission form, including your name, birthdate, country, interests, ecosystem area, skills and talents, and notes or suggestions.

Some of this information may be personal or sensitive. We use it only to review and respond to mission participation inquiries. We do not sell or rent it. Individual projects and linked applications may have their own data practices, which should be reviewed separately before use.

Cookies, analytics, and third parties

We do not intentionally use advertising trackers or analytics profiles on this site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard technical information needed to deliver those files.

Links to project applications, social platforms, or other websites take you to services outside The Yellow Umbrella. Their privacy policies govern what happens there.

AI-assisted imagery

Some illustrative images on this site were created or developed with AI tools, including ChatGPT/OpenAI image generation. These images are visual concept art for fictional worlds, project identities, and editorial presentation. They are not photographs, historical reproductions, or depictions of actual people unless explicitly identified otherwise.

We aim to label and use these materials honestly. Their presence does not imply that the people, places, or scenes shown are real.

We seek to practice privacy as an expression of human dignity. That means collecting less, explaining more, protecting sensitive spiritual life, and choosing tools that serve people rather than manipulate attention.

Children and families

Our projects may be encountered by families and young people, but this site is not designed to knowingly collect information from children. Parents and guardians should review the privacy terms of any linked application before allowing a child to use it.
