Yearner's Club is a fellowship for missionary writers who want to use their talents for the mission and become agents of the Word, who is Jesus.

The main idea of George MacDonald's 1858 novel Phantastes is the spiritual and moral maturation of the human soul through the relinquishing of selfish desires.
The story operates as a spiritual ordeal disguised as a fairy tale, using a dreamlike journey to explore humility, self-knowledge, and the courage to grow. Yearner's Club begins from that same conviction: longing can become a path of purification when it is surrendered to God.

Yearner's Club forms writers who pay attention to the world, tell the truth with beauty, and offer their gifts for the good of souls. We write because love has something to say, and because the mission needs people willing to say it faithfully.
